Layered An onion grows through skins, its soft, juicy core hardens from lying in the sun. A martyr never naps in peace, soft, young skin turns leather-strong from the lack of living. A boundary thickens with pride as within one’s mind reigns the only road to truth. A heart saddens over time when left hanging in the sun of staged glory.
